I’ve always been the sister who wasn’t very good at crafting. I just recently moved into the cutest house up in Logan and we were really needing some fall decorations. My roommate showed me the cutest white pumpkins on Pinterest and it got my mind reeling! I decided to make these cute “Boo” pumpkins for our porch! It literally took me 10 minutes and was so cheap! If I can do it, anyone can do it, trust me!
Here’s what you’ll need!
3 Ghost Pumpkins (white pumpkins): I found these ones at Fresh Market, but you can find them at just about any grocery store right now mixed in with the normal pumpkins. Mine were pretty small so the three of them together wouldn’t take up much room
100 Gold 1/4 inch Brads: These come in packs of 50 at Michael’s (or any craft store). 100 should be plenty, plus give you a few extras just in case!
Burlap or Halloween Ribbon: I just picked up this ribbon while I was in the craft store. Burlap ribbon looks really cute with the white pumpkins, but your favorite Halloween ribbon would look just as cute!
Here’s what you do:
1- Using a pencil, draw on your pumpkins the word “Boo” (or any other Halloween word or design)
2- Push the gold brads into the pumpkin following the pencil outline. They go in very easy!
3- Tie some ribbon into bows, and pin them on top using your leftover gold brads, or pins.
4- Display them and feel crafty! 😉
