For the first three years of my marriage, I honestly didn’t cook dinner one time. I lived on peanut butter and jam sandwiches and cold cereal while I was working full-time and going to school full-time. After having my first child and leaving the work force, I decided that it was time to learn how to cook.I started with the simplest of recipes that used ingredients I recognized and as few ingredients as possible. It’s amazing what you can make with just a few simple ingredients!I know that there are many of you who get overwhelmed by complex recipes, so I wanted to put together a list of all the recipes on our blog that use only 6 ingredients or less but are still delicious. Some of these recipes literally only take three ingredients!
**Disclaimer: when counting ingredients, if it called for water or salt and pepper, I didn’t count it as an ingredient because those are so basic and easy. Also, I didn’t include additional optional toppings, so also take that into consideration. 🙂 Happy cooking!
