Frozen Hot Chocolate Recipe

Print Friendly

Last year, I tried my first frozen hot chocolate.  I know, it sounds a little strange, but it is so good!  You can whip this treat up in a matter of minutes and it can feed a crowd.  I made this for my little boy’s friends and they thought I was the coolest Mom on the block. :)

Frozen Hot Chocolate Recipe:
(Makes 10 servings)

1 cup hot cocoa powder
3 Tablespoons sugar
3 cups milk
6 cups ice

Whipped topping
Chocolate syrup
Chocolate shavings

Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.  Pour into glasses and top with whipped topping, a drizzle of chocolate syrup and chocolate shavings.

Hot cocoa powder comes in envelopes or bigger containers so you can scoop out what you need. The stores sell their own store brand or we use Stephens Hot Cocoa powder. Hope this helps!
