As the size of our blog started to grow, we started getting questions every day about how to find the nutrition information on our recipes.
We honestly had no idea where to even start to calculate that sort of info.
We approached our dad with the problem and started talking about how great it would be if there was a site that allowed you to find the nutrition information of any recipe-
even your own family recipes!
When it comes to dieting and trying to eat healthier, counting calories, carbs and fat grams is a definite must, but it’s hard when you are making homemade dishes, which was one of the driving forces behind our new site (My Recipe Magic).
As many of you have probably noticed, there is a new button on each of our posts-
We call it the “Magic” button.
It may be a little cheesy, but that is where the magic happens with our recipes on Six Sisters’ Stuff.
You can usually find the button right above or below each post.
Click on the magic button of any recipe and you are taken to it’s page over on MyRecipeMagic.com.
From there you will see the recipe and a couple of tabs across the top.
To find the nutrition information, click on the second tab titled “Nutrition”.
You then will be able to see the nutrition facts for each serving.
Keep in mind that the nutrition facts are calculated using the exact recipe- you can alter it by using low-fat or fat-free ingredients
(or the opposite and using higher calorie and higher fat ingredients).
Continue to scroll down and you will see that at the bottom of the nutrition facts, we also include Weight Watchers Points and Points Plus!
Want to add YOUR OWN family recipes and find out their nutritional value(and make a little extra cash from sharing them)?
