Peppermint Oreo Truffles Recipe
The perfect combination of creamy white chocolate, cream cheese, crushed Oreo, and peppermint candy canes, come together to form the BEST holiday treat.
- 14.3 ounces Oreo cookies not double stuff
- 4 peppermint candy canes
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1 ½ cups white chocolate chips melted
Separate the Oreo chocolate cookie from the frosting.
In a blender or food processor, blend the chocolate cookies (not the frosting) and the candy canes until they are finely chopped and there are no large pieces of Oreo.
Add the frosting and the cream cheese to the blended chocolate cookies, and blend until you get a smooth creamy cookie dough mixture.
Cover a cookie sheet with wax paper or aluminum foil and roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place on sheet.
Freeze for an hour, then remove from freezer and melt white chocolate.
Dip the truffles into the white chocolate and sprinkle with crushed candy cane or holiday sprinkles.
Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
