PITA NACHOS RECIPE

A delicious and HEALTHY twist on nachos made with pitas!

Ingredients

  • 2 (6 inch) whole-wheat pitas
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ cup shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup pico de gallo

Instructions

  • Split two whole-wheat 6 inch pitas into six triangles each.
  • Brush with olive oil and bake at 350 degrees on a cookie sheet for 5 minutes (or until crispy).
  • Remove from oven and top each with a pinch of mozzarella cheese and a small spoon of pico de gallo.
  • Bake for an additional 10-12 minutes, until cheese has melted. Serve warm.
