Easy Black Bean Recipe

These beans are SO easy to throw together - and they make a great side dish or topping for all your favorite Mexican dishes.

  • 2 (16 ounce) cans black beans (drain one, and leave the liquid from the other one)
  • ½ white onion diced
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 2 Tablespoons fresh cilantro chopped
  • 1 1 ounce packet ranch dressing mix
  • salt and pepper to taste


  • In a large saucepan, combine beans, onion, and garlic and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium low, and then add in cilantro, ranch dressing, and salt and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes, and then serve.
