- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup sugar
- ½ cup butter softened
- 2 large eggs slightly beaten
- 3 medium bananas mashed, just a little over a cup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¼ cup milk
- ½ cup milk chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease a 9"x5" loaf pan and set aside.
In a large bowl, mix together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Set bowl aside.
In a separate bowl, beat sugar and butter together until creamy. Add 2 eggs and mix well. Add in bananas, vanilla, and milk and stir until completely incorporated.
Add the wet banana mixture to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips and spoon batter into prepared baking pan.
Bake for 55-65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Remove bread from oven and let cool on a wire rack for at least 30 minutes. Remove from pan and enjoy.
- We recommend storing this bread in an air tight storage container, and putting it in the fridge.
