  • 1 pound lean ground turkey
  • ¼ onion diced
  • 1 Tablespoon yellow mustard
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 Tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 Tablespoons barbecue sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons dill pickle relish
  • 8 ounces Velveeta cheese  (cut into small cubes)
  • 6 hamburger buns

Instructions

  • Brown 1 pound of ground turkey in a large skillet on the stovetop.
  • In a small bowl, mix together onion, mustard, garlic powder, ketchup, barbecue sauce, and pickle relish.
  • Place browned ground turkey in slow cooker and pour sauce mixture over top, along with the cheese. Mix gently to cover all the meat.
  • Cook on high for 2 hours, stirring half way through.
  • Serve on your favorite hamburger buns with your favorite condiments, and enjoy!

Notes

  • This recipe is easy to double if you need to feed more people or want to freeze half for another night.
