Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil.
Mix the crackers and bread crumbs together and place in a medium sized bowl. Melt the butter and place in another bowl.
Dip the chicken in the melted butter/margarine. Coat with the crumb mixture. Place on a cookie sheet and place in the oven for about 45 minutes or until chicken is cooked all the way through.
Notes
Some of our readers have suggested dipping the chicken in a Cream of Chicken soup before dipping it in the saltine cracker coating and another adds a dash of red pepper flakes for flavor and a little kick.
