Reese’s Chocolate Butter Cake Recipe

- 15.25 ounces Devil's Food Cake Mix
- ½ cup butter melted
- 1 egg
- 12 peanut butter cups (full size circle), cut into sixths
- 4 snack size butterfinger candy bars coarsely chopped
- 8 ounces cream cheese softened
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 3 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- ½ cup butter melted
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 1 cup milk chocolate chips
- 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
Preheat oven to 325 degrees for a generously greased 9 x 13 inch glass pan.
Combine the cake mix, melted butter, and egg and mix until combined. Cover the bottom of the greased pan evenly with the cake mixture.
Spread the peanut butter cups and butterfinger pieces over the cake mixture.
Mix together the cream cheese, peanut butter and eggs and vanilla until well blended. Then add the butter.
Then mix in the powdered sugar until well blended. Spread over the candy bar layer.
Bake for about 55 minutes. It will puff up in the center and will drop a little after you remove it from the oven. Let cool.
Mix chocolate chips and vegetable oil in a microwave safe dish and spread over the cooked cake when it's cooled.
