Graham Cracker Crumb Bars Recipe
A great (and super quick) dessert bar recipe!
Servings: 9 people
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 2 cups flaked coconut
- ¼ cup butter melted
- 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 2 cups chocolate chips
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. In a bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs and coconut together. Pour in the milk and melted butter and mix together until it's completely incorporated. Spray an 8x8" pan with non-stick cooking spray and press the graham cracker mixture into the pan. Bake for about 10 minutes, then take the bars out of the oven and let cool.
Put the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave for 60 seconds. Stir, and microwave for 30-60 more seconds, or until all the chips are melted and the chocolate is smooth. Spread the chocolate over the bars, sprinkle a couple of graham cracker crumbs on top (if you want- completely optional- I just had a couple of crumbs left in the bottom of the bag, so I dumped them on top), and let cool. Cut into squares once the chocolate has hardened (you can put them in the fridge to speed up the process!).
