Ingredients
2(15 ounce) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
¼cupolive oil, plus more for garnish
1Tablespoonlemon juice
2Tablespoonsfresh parsley leaves, chopped
2teaspoonminced garlic
1½teaspoonsalt
½teaspoonsesame oil
½teaspoonground cumin
½teaspoonblack pepper
½cupwater
paprika, to garnish
Instructions
In a blender, combine all the ingredients except for the parsley and paprika that will be used as a garnish. Blend until smooth and pour hummus onto your serving plate.
Drizzle lightly with olive oil, sprinkle parsley and paprika on top and serve. Cover the top with plastic wrap and store at room temperature or in the fridge.
