Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook pasta in the boiling water, stirring occasionally, and then drain water.
Rinse pasta with cold water until cool; drain. Add pasta to a large bowl.
Add bacon, onion, peppers, tomatoes, and cheese to the pasta and mix well.
In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, sour cream, and ranch salad dressing mix. Add mayo mixture into the pasta and vegetables and mix until it's completely covered. Add salt and pepper as desired.
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate at least 3-4 hours before serving.
