Chocolate Buttercream Frosting Recipe
This Chocolate Buttercream Frosting is so easy to make, and is just the right combination of rich and creamy. It's not overpowering, but it is quite rich and filling. It spreads and pipes onto all your desserts, nicely.
- ½ cup butter softened
- 2 ⅔ cups powdered sugar
- ½ cup whipping cream
- 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla
- ½ cup cocoa powder
Cream the butter in a small bowl. Blend in the cocoa powder, vanilla, confectioners sugar, alternately with the cream. Beat with an electric mixer, until the desired texture is achieved.
