  • 2 cups Sweet Potatoes mashed
  • 3 Tablespoons packed brown sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon Butter melted
  • 1 pound lean ground turkey breast
  • ½ onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables thawed and drained
  • 10.5 ounces cream of chicken soup 1 can
  • ½ cup milk
  • salt and pepper to taste


  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Stir the sweet potatoes, brown sugar and margarine in a medium bowl.
  • Cook the turkey, onion, garlic, in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until the turkey is cooked through. Stir in the mixed vegetables, soup and milk.
  • Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Spoon the turkey mixture into a 2-quart baking dish.
  • Spread the sweet potato mixture over the turkey mixture.
  • Bake for 15 minutes or until hot.
