Large Baking Sheet
Non-stick Cooking Spray
- 18 dinner rolls frozen dough
- 1 cups pizza sauce
- 3 cups shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 54 pepperoni slices
Thaw rolls according to directions on the package.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
After the rolls are thawed (but not risen), stretch out each roll and lay it flat on a greased cookie sheet.
Spoon a small amount of pizza sauce onto each roll. Top with a small handful of shredded cheese, and three pepperoni slices.
Fold the dough over the toppings and pinch the edges together. Try to not have any holes in your dough, as your cheese will melt out of it.
Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown. Let cool a few minutes before serving.
We generally keep the toppings simple for the kids with pepperoni, but there are so many other ideas you can do!
Here are a few suggestions:
- Green pepper
- Olives
- Ham (or Canadian bacon)
- Pineapple
- Bacon bits
- Banana peppers
- Barbecue instead of pizza sauce
- Grilled chicken pieces
- Red onion
