Equipment

  • 9x13-inch Baking Pan
  • Non-stick Cooking Spray
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Aluminum Foil

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds sliced ham (spiral sliced works great)
  • 20 ounces sliced pineapple rings 1 can, (drain and reserve juice)
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup honey
  • 2 Tablespoons water
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Carve the ham into pieces as you would when you normally carve your ham.
  • Cut the pineapple slices in half.
  • Spray a 9 x 13 inch pan with non stick cooking spray
  • Place the ham and pineapple slices in a row, in the pan. I did every 2 or 3 slices of ham to 1 slice of pineapple. (Remember to reserve the pineapple juice.)
  • In a bowl, mix the brown sugar, honey, water, cinnamon, nutmeg and 1/3 cup reserved pineapple juice until fully combined.
  • Pour the mixture on top of the ham and pineapple.
  • Cover the pan with foil, place in oven and bake for 40 minutes or until ham and pineapple are hot.

Notes

  • If you want a pop of color, you could also use a few scattered leaves or sprigs of chopped parsley. I would also pair the parsley with fresh cracked pepper.
