Oven-Roasted Green Beans Recipe
Oven-Roasted Green Beans make the perfect side dish for any meal. Drizzled in olive oil and simply seasoned with salt and pepper, these beans turn out flavorful and perfect every time.
Large Baking Sheet
Non-stick Cooking Spray
- 2 pounds fresh green beans
- 2 Tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt, to taste
- ½ teaspoon pepper
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Line large baking sheet with aluminum foil and lightly spray with non-stick cooking spray.
Spread beans in a single layer on a large baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper, then using your hands (or a large spatula), lightly toss beans until they are coated with oil and seasonings. Spread beans back out in a single layer.
Cook for 20-25 minutes, or until beans are tender and start getting brown spots on the outside.
- While I personally have never roasted frozen beans, everything that I have read says that you can but that you will need to add 10-15 minutes to the cooking time.
