Equipment

  • Large Baking Sheet
  • Aluminum Foil
  • Non-stick Cooking Spray

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds fresh green beans
  • 2 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt, to taste
  • ½ teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Line large baking sheet with aluminum foil and lightly spray with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Spread beans in a single layer on a large baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.
  • Sprinkle with salt and pepper, then using your hands (or a large spatula), lightly toss beans until they are coated with oil and seasonings. Spread beans back out in a single layer.
  • Cook for 20-25 minutes, or until beans are tender and start getting brown spots on the outside.

Notes

  • While I personally have never roasted frozen beans, everything that I have read says that you can but that you will need to add 10-15 minutes to the cooking time.
