  • cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup butter melted
  • 2 Tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 Tablespoon grated orange zest
  • cup Craisins
  • cup chopped pecans
  • 2 Tablespoons sugar
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 8 ounces crescent roll dough 1 package

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • In a small bowl mix brown sugar, butter, maple syrup and orange zest.
  • Spread the brown sugar mixture in the bottom of a round 8 inch baking dish.
  • Sprinkle craisins and pecans over top.
  • Remove crescent roll dough from the can, do nut unroll the dough.
  • Slice the dough into 12 equal slices measuring about 1/2 inch thick.
  • Dip each slice on both sides into the sugar/cinnamon mixture.
  • Place in pan on top of the brown sugar layer. Sprinkle remaining sugar/cinnamon on top.
  • Bake in oven for about 20-22 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Immediately invert onto a plate after removing from the oven. Serve warm.
