Lion House Restaurant Style Cheesecake Recipe

Equipment

Ingredients

Crust

  • cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 3 Tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 6 Tablespoons butter melted

Filling

  • 24 ounces cream cheese 3 (8 ounce packages), softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice

Toppings

  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 3 Tablespoons sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.
  • Combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, cinnamon and melted butter until crumbly.
  • Press crumb mixture firmly into the bottom of a 10-inch springform pan; set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, beat together cream cheese and sugar.
  • Beat in eggs one at a time.
  • Add vanilla and lemon juice and combine thoroughly.
  • Pour mixture into springform pan, filling to within half an inch of the top of the pan.
  • Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until the middle is set, checking after 1 hour.
  • When cheesecake is almost done baking, beat together topping ingredients.
  • Pour over baked cheesecake and bake an additional 10 minutes. Let cook completely.
  • Store cheesecake in the fridge until ready to serve.
