Ingredients

Brownies

  • 1 cup margarine
  • 2 cups sugar
  • cup cocoa
  • 4 eggs
  • cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 18 ounces creamy peanut butter 1 container

Frosting

  • ½ cup butter softened
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 Tablespoons cocoa
  • 3 cups powdered sugar

Instructions

  • Soften margarine and blend in sugar and cocoa.  Beat together and add 4 eggs, one at a time, mixing after each one.  
  • Add flour, salt and vanilla and mix well.  
  • Spread in a greased large jelly roll cookie sheet.  Bake 22-25 minutes at 350 degrees.  
  • Remove brownies from oven and let cool completely.  Spread on peanut butter.  
  • Mix all frosting ingredients together until smooth.  
  • Spread frosting over brownies.
