  • 3 cups strawberries diced
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 Tablespoon cornstarch


  • 2 cups old fashioned oats
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup butter melted


  • Heat cast iron skillet over medium heat.
  • Combine strawberries, sugar, lemon juice, and cornstarch in skillet and cook until strawberries are softened and liquid thickens (about 5-7 minutes)
  • In a separate bowl, combine oats, brown sugar, and butter.
  • Sprinkle crumble over strawberry mixture.
  • Bake for 10 minutes.
  • Top with ice cream and enjoy! Best served warm.


  • You could most definitely make this recipe, using frozen strawberries. However, we recommend letting the strawberries defrost.
