Carrot ‘Fries’ Recipe

Easy carrot "fries" make a great after-school snack or side dish!

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 1 Tablespoon seasoned salt
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 pounds carrots (peeled and cut into quarter inch sticks)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  • In a large ziploc bag (or bowl), mix together olive oil, salt, cumin, chili powder, and pepper.
  • Add in carrots and toss until coated.
  • Spread carrots evenly out on a baking sheet that is covered with aluminum foil.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes, until carrots are golden.
  • Serve warm.

Notes

We love to serve these carrots with ranch dressing for dipping.
