Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Brownies Recipe

These are so delicious with a good marshmallow topping, with irresistible brownie bottom. Topped with delicious cookie dough.

Ingredients

Brownie Bottom

  • 1 cup margarine Or butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • cup cocoa
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 ½ cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla

Cookie Dough Layer

  • ¾ cup butter plain scent
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ tablespoons salt
  • 2 Tablespoons milk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 ½ cups milk chocolate chips divided
  • cup hot fudge optional

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Soften margarine and blend in sugar and cocoa. Mix well.
  • Add in 4 eggs one at a time, mixing after each one. Add in flour, salt and vanilla and mix well.
  • Spread batter into a 9 X 13 inch greased pan.
  • Bake for 22-25 minutes. Cool completely.

Cookie Dough Layer

  • In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to combine the butter, sugars and salt until soft and creamy.
  • Then mix in the milk and vanilla.
  • Add in the flour and mix in until combined.
  • Fold in 1 cup of chocolate chips. Scoop the cookie dough onto the  top of the cooled brownies and spread evenly. (If the cookie dough is sticking to your spatula, spray your hands with non stick spray, and spread by hand.)
  • Sprinkle extra chocolate chips on the top as you would like. (optional).
  • Cover and place the brownies in the refrigerator for 2 hours before cutting. Drizzle each piece with hot fudge.
