These Chocolate M&M Cookies are so yummy and incredibly easy to make. If you have never had these, you need to stop what you are doing and make them. The M&M's are really what make this cookie to die for. You will love them.

- 1¼ cups butter softened to room temperature
- 2 cups white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2½ cups all-purpose flour
- ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 cups mini M & M candies
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar.
Beat in eggs one at a time then add vanilla.
In a separate mixing bowl, combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Add dry mixture to wet ingredients. Fold in M&Ms.
Roll dough into 1-inch sized balls and place on ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake for 8-9 minutes.
I love chocolate and peanut butter. I you are looking to switch things up, here is what I recommend:
- add 1/3 cup creamy (or chunky) peanut butter to the batter.
- add peanut butter chips.
- add Reese’s Pieces instead of M & M’s (or do both. I won’t judge).
- add Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup pieces to the batter.
