Chocolate M&M Cookies Recipe

These Chocolate M&M Cookies are so yummy and incredibly easy to make. If you have never had these, you need to stop what you are doing and make them. The M&M's are really what make this cookie to die for. You will love them.

Ingredients

  • cups butter softened to room temperature
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • cups all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups mini M & M candies

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar.
  • Beat in eggs one at a time then add vanilla.
  • In a separate mixing bowl, combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Add dry mixture to wet ingredients. Fold in M&Ms.
  • Roll dough into 1-inch sized balls and place on ungreased cookie sheets.
  • Bake for 8-9 minutes.

Notes

I love chocolate and peanut butter. I you are looking to switch things up, here is what I recommend:
  • add 1/3 cup creamy (or chunky) peanut butter to the batter.
  • add peanut butter chips.
  • add Reese’s Pieces instead of M & M’s (or do both. I won’t judge).
  • add Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup pieces to the batter.
