Walnut Fudge Brownies Recipe

These brownies may put you in a chocolate coma. They are very rich, so keep a cold glass of milk near you.

  • 3 ounces unsweetened chocolate
  • ½ cup butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs slightly beaten
  • 1 cup flour
  • pinch of salt
  • chopped walnuts (optional)


  • Melt chocolate and butter over double broiler
  • Remove from heat and stir in sugar and eggs
  • Stir in flour and salt
  • Add nuts and mix until well combined.
  • Bake in a lightly greased 9x9 or 8x8 pan at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean
  • Cool in pan, cut into small squares
  • This delicious served as is but I love to eat all my brownies with ice cream!
