Strawberry Poppyseed Pasta Salad Recipe

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces bowtie pasta
  • ¾ cup creamy poppyseed dressing
  • ¾ cup light mayonnaise
  • 4 green onions sliced
  • 1 (11 ounce) can mandarin oranges drained
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries sliced

Instructions

  • Cook pasta as directed on package; drain and set aside until cool.
  • Mix poppyseed dressing and mayonnaise in a large mixing bowl. Add in cooled pasta and onions and mix gently until evenly coated.
  • Fold in oranges and sliced strawberries.
  • Refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes

Here are a few vegetables that we like to add in:
  • cucumbers
  • bell peppers
  • zucchini
  • carrot shreds
  • broccoli bits (finely chopped broccoli. I don’t add a lot, but I do love the taste of it, in this salad).
