Classic Baked Garlic Chicken Recipe
This chicken is so fragrant and flavorful and it literally melts in your mouth. Even picky eaters love it, making it a win-win recipe!
Servings: 6 people
- 6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- ⅓ cup olive oil
- 1 Tablespoon minced garlic
- ½ cup dry plain bread crumbs
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- ⅓ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Line a 9 x 13 inch baking pan with aluminum foil and lightly spray with nonstick cooking spray.
In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil and garlic.
In another bowl, combine the bread crumbs, grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning.
Dip each chicken breast first in the olive oil, then in the bread crumb mixture.
Place breaded chicken on the prepared pan and sprinkle shredded Parmesan cheese over each chicken breast.
Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until chicken is completely cooked and reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees F.
