Place ribs in a large pot and fill with water until ribs are completely covered. You may need to cut the ribs into smaller sections to fit into the pot.
Add garlic powder, pepper and salt to pot and bring to a boil.
Boil for 40 minutes, or until ribs are tender.
Preheat oven to 325℉.
Remove ribs from pot and place in a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Brush BBQ sauce over ribs.
Cover dish with foil and bake for 1 hour, or until internal temperature of pork has reached 160℉.
Brush on additional BBQ sauce before serving, if desired.
Notes
Remove the connective tissue or white membrane before cooking the loin ribs.
To keep the oven-backed BBQ ribs from drying out, cover the baking dish with aluminum foil.
Remove the foil-wrapped ribs from the oven and immediately brush with more BBQ sauce. Make sure to get the back of the ribs and the meaty side with barbecue sauce for the best flavor.
Use a BBQ rub before brushing on BBQ sauce if you want even more bursting BBQ flavor.
The low temperature will allow the cooking ribs to absorb more of the flavor without drying out.
