Equipment

  • large baking dish
  • Tin foil

Ingredients

  • 15 Kings Hawaiian rolls cut in half
  • 2 cups shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 4-5 roma tomatoes cut into 15 slices
  • 15 fresh basil leaves
  • balsamic vinegar

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • In a large baking dish sprayed with non-stick spray, place the bottom halves of the rolls into the dish. Add Balsamic Vinegar and spread it evenly over the rolls. Add shredded mozzarella to each roll then a slice of tomato, then 1-2 basil leaves depending on size. Place the tops of the rolls on top.
  • Cover the baking dish with foil, then place into oven. Cook for 10 minutes. Carefully remove foil and place back into oven for 3-5 minutes, or until tops are lightly toasted.
  • Use a spatula to remove the sliders and serve immediately.

Notes

We recommend purchasing rolls that have baked together, so it creates one giant slab of bread. Place the bread slab on it’s side and cut the rolls so all the bottoms are together and all the roll tops are together.
This will ensure that the filling of the sliders, will stay put, and not slide out, onto the pan when cooking. Instead, it will melt onto the other sandwiches.
