OPEN-FACED TUNA MELTS RECIPE
These easy sandwiches are my go-to when I need a quick lunch or dinner. I feel good about feeding it to my family because it's loaded with protein and it's items that I usually have on hand.

- ¾ cup light mayonnaise
- ½ green bell pepper diced
- 2 Tablespoons onion diced
- 1 stalk celery diced
- 1 Tablespoon yellow mustard
- ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 3 cans tuna drained
- 6 slices bread toasted
- 3 tomatoes sliced
- 6 Tablespoons shredded cheddar cheese
Heat oven to broil.
In a small bowl combine the mayonnaise, green pepper, onion, celery, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce.
Then stir in tuna.
Spread over each piece of bread; top with a tomato slices. Sprinkle with cheese.
Place bread on a baking sheet. Broil 3-4 inches from the heat for 2 minutes or until lightly browned and cheese is melted.
