Ingredients

  • pound white American cheese cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 (4 ounce) can diced green chiles
  • 2 jalapeños seeded and diced
  • cup half and half
  • ½ cup cold water

Instructions

  • Place all ingredients into a microwavable-safe bowl.
  • Microwave on high for 5 minutes, stopping to stir after every minute. It might appear runny at first, but it will thicken up as it starts to cool down.
  • Serve immediately with tortilla chips.

Notes

This white queso sauce recipe has medium heat, if you want more heat simply add more jalapeños, poblano pepper or green chiles.
