Ingredients

  • 16 ounces Cream Cheese 2 packages, softened
  • 8 ounces crushed pineapple drained well
  • ½ cup green bell pepper diced
  • ¼ cup green onions chopped
  • 1 teaspoon seasoning salt
  • 1 ½ cups chopped pecans

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, crushed pineapple, green pepper, green onions and seasoning salt. I find that the cheese ball is more smooth when I first blend the cream cheese alone, with my hand mixer. Then add the other ingredients.
  •  Form into a ball and place on a plate, cover in saran wrap and keep in the fridge for a few hours (or overnight) or until set up.
  • Before serving, roll cheese ball in pecans. (If you don’t like pecans, you could also almonds, walnuts, or pistachios.)
  • Serve with crackers.
