Equipment

Ingredients

  • 15 ounces black beans 1 can, drained and rinsed
  • 3 eggs
  • cup pumpkin puree
  • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ cup milk chocolate chips

Peanut Butter Swirl

  • cup peanut butter
  • cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Place all brownie ingredients into a food processor.
  • Blend until smooth and beans are completely mashed and mixed.
  • Pour batter into a greased 8x8 pan
  • On the stove over medium heat, melt peanut butter, syrup, and vanilla together.
  • Using a spoon, dollop the peanut butter mixture into the brownie batter.
  • Using a butter knife, marble the peanut butter into the brownies.
  • Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean in the center.
  • Let brownies cool before topping them with your favorite ice cream and toppings

Notes

*The texture is not that of a regular brownie, they will be a little more crumbly and spongy, perfect for your ice cream sundae!
