Slow Cooker Turkey and Stuffing

Thanksgiving has got to be one of the best holidays. You get to eat a giant meal and be with family, then its a national shopping day the next day. Does it get any better than that? It does, with this delicious Slow Cooker Turkey and Stuffing recipe. Make Thanksgiving easy this year.

Happy Thanksgiving.
Want to know what our family does every year on Thanksgiving Eve?
You will have to read about it, in the link above. It gets pretty wild every year.  It’s also pretty much the best dinner of the year, besides Thanksgiving dinner.
But back to the recipe, I have something a little embarrassing to admit. I have never actually cooked a turkey.
I am a wimp. Something about cleaning out the guts kind of turns me off.
But I love turkey dinner. Thank goodness for beautifully trimmed and gut-free turkey breast.
(Jennie-O didn’t ask me to say this . . . I am just giving you my honest opinion!)
Throw these in your crock pot with my grandma’s easy stuffing recipe and you have a delicious turkey dinner that didn’t require any gut-removing or hard work.
This Ground Turkey and Stuffing recipe is absolutely delicious. Thanksgiving has never tasted so good, or been so easy to prepare.

tips for preparing our slow cooker turkey and stuffing recipe

  • The recipe explains to spray the slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray before adding in the turkey breast. I could not stress this step more.Things can burn so easily in a slow cooker, especially on the bottom, so for easy removal, be sure to spray the slow cooker thoroughly.
  • If you want to know an even better trick, use a slow cooker liner, for your slow cooker. It’s like a giant plastic bag (safe for cooking in of course), and when you remove it from your slow cooker, it looks like new.
They are so easy to use, and make clean-up, even easier.
  • These are our favorite: And don’t forget your Crock Pot Liners.
