I just love apples, especially when fall time comes around. I was searching for new delicious recipes when I came across a way to make homemade applesauce.
I was so excited. This applesauce would make a great side dish or a perfect after school snack.
We even have it for dessert because it is just that sweet and delicious.
It is so easy to make and comes together in a matter of minutes. Whether it’s fresh apples from outside your home, or apples from the store, this applesauce beats any store bough or pre-packaged applesauce.
You can make it as smooth or as chunky as you desire, but I like mine with a little more texture. You will love this recipe.
Did I mention this recipe is only 4 ingredients? Ya, it doesn’t get any easier than this.

what is the best way to peel and core an apple?

I have found the easiest way to peel my apples, is with a vegetable (or potato) peeler. It is a process, but if I start at the top, and work in circular motions around the apple, it usually peels quite fast.

To core my apples, (I wish I had a special tool) but I do it old school and slice my apple, like a would a snack. I just cut around the core, to avoid the seeds.

There are special apple coring machines and gadgets you can buy, but I don’t mind doing the old fashioned way.
