Cheesy Zucchini Sticks

It's summer and zucchini is so easy to grow and inexpensive to purchase. These Cheesy Zucchini Sticks are a great side dish or make a delicious healthy snack.

how to make Cheesy Zucchini Sticks

Grab a few zucchini from your garden or at your local grocery store, and you may easily have the other ingredients on hand for this amazing recipe.

  • Grab the 5 ingredients for these cheesy zucchini sticks.
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Line a rimmed cookie sheet with foil.
  • Cut zucchini into thick wedges and place on baking sheet.

  • In a small bowl stir together the melted butter and garlic.
  • Brush the garlic butter mixture onto the zucchini.
  • Sprinkle with garlic salt and shredded Mozzarella cheese.

  • Bake in oven for 12-14  minutes, or until the cheese starts to melt and the zucchini is fork tender.
  • Serve warm.

  • 5 medium zucchini
  • 4 Tablespoons butter (melted)
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 Tablespoon garlic salt
  • 3/4 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Line a rimmed cookie sheet with aluminum foil.
  3. Cut zucchini into thick wedges.
  4. Place the zucchini on baking sheet.
  5. In a small bowl, stir together the melted butter and garlic.
  6. Brush the garlic/butter mixture onto zucchini.
  7. Sprinkle with garlic salt and shredded Mozzarella cheese.
  8. Bake in preheated oven 11-13 minutes until the cheese starts to brown and zucchini are fork tender. Serve warm.

    I discover three months ago and I'm hooked! So to share the love I started a cooking club in my ward and at work! We have the best time! We also include our kids in on the fun of cooking together!

    Would it be ok to serve these cold? I'm think of making these for my father's birthday party this July but I will be driving about an hour and half away to get them there or should I just make them at my parents home instead of making them at my home and packing them up? They don't seem to take too long to make. Thanks and I love your site! The recipes are so amazing! Best of luck to you all! Megan
