My favorite thing about this time of year, aside from the warmer weather of course, is the delicious Easter candy you can find on almost every aisle at the grocery store.
I saw these Croissants on Pinterest and knew I had to try them with my favorite Cadbury Eggs. I have now found my favorite breakfast food, dessert, and Easter treat. Seriously to die for.
These are also fun to eat on Easter morning for breakfast. it’s the perfect excuse to eat a Cadbury egg for breakfast. It would pair deliciously with hot chocolate as well.
what cadbury egg was used for this recipe? What else could i use?
For this recipe, I used a caramel Cadbury egg, because I love the melted caramel flavor combined with the chocolate and croissant.
They are so easy to make. You simply just wrap the chocolate egg in the egg basted, croissant dough, and bake it.
If you are not a Cadbury Egg fan, you can also use Nutella, peanut butter and chocolate chips, Reese’s, raspberry jam and Nutella, bananas and honey, etc.
The fun thing about these croissants, is you can get as creative with them as you’d like.
I also love a good s’more croissant with graham cracker crumbles, marshmallows and chocolate chips. These are fun for trying new flavors, and creating a new favorite breakfast or dessert, the whole family will love.
We even made these for “breakfast for dinner” and all the kids loved stuffing their own croissants.

CADBURY EGG CROISSANTS RECIPE
Ingredients
- 1 package Jumbo Croissant Rolls (The smaller ones could possibly work, but these will guarantee no leaking from the delicious filling!)
- 8 Cadbury Cream eggs (or Caramel Filled Eggs)
- 1 egg beaten
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Beat one egg and set aside in a bowl.
- Spread out croissant dough and brush inside lightly with beaten egg.
- Place Cadbury egg at large side of dough and roll into croissant making sure there are no openings in the pastry.
- Brush the outside with beaten egg, and place onto lightly greased baking sheet.
- Bake pastries at 350 degrees for 12 minutes, or until croissant is golden brown.
- Let the pastries cool for 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
