  • 3/4 cup butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 (3.5 ounces) box instant butterscotch pudding mix (dry, not prepared)
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar and sugar.
  3. Stir in vanilla and egg and mix well.
  4. In a separate bowl, sift together salt, flour, pudding mix and baking soda.
  5. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix until combined.
  6. Fold in butterscotch and chocolate chips.
  7. Roll into 1-inch balls and place two inches apart on cookie sheets.
  8. Bake 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
