Creamy Yogurt Fresh Fruit Salad

This is an easy side dish that you can throw together right before dinner . . . one of the saddest things about summer ending is that you don’t have access to as many delicious fruits; thankfully this salad can be adapted to whatever fruit is in season.

  • 2 cups strawberries, sliced
  • 2 fresh peaches, diced
  • 2 bananas, sliced
  • 2 cups grapes, red or green
  • 8 ounces yogurt, plain or vanilla
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • lime juice


  1. Mix together the prepared fruit in a large bowl. Add in 2-3 tablespoons of lime juice to keep the fruit from browning.
  2. In a separate small bowl mix together yogurt, lemon juice, sugar, and vanilla.
  3. Add yogurt mixture to the prepared fruit and stir in gently. (You can also use it on the side as a dip) Either way is delicious!
  4. *Some other fruits you could add are blueberries, kiwi, cantaloupe, and pineapple.You can add any fruit that you would like.
