As a college student, I am not used to cooking for other people. Most of my meals are simple slow cooker meals, or if I am lucky, leftovers from my mom’s Sunday dinner the weekend before. A few nights ago I decided I would finally cook up a real meal and surprise my roommates. It wasn’t until we were about ready to sit down at the table, that I realized I hadn’t cooked any side dishes to go with the dinner at all!
