  1. Just tried out this recipe today! It was very delicious, but a little dry. Kind of more like a pot roast vs a stew. When you make it, is it more of a thick soup or creamy? And if so, how do you achieve this?? :p The only differences I made were no worchestershire sauce, but I added in more beef broth [I used broth instead of stock as well]. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!
  2. Made this a couple nights ago. It was wonderful. Used deer meat and it was so tender. Carrots and potatoes etc were perfect as well . We added mushrooms because my husband thinks they should be added to everything. I committed the Worcestershire sauce because I didn't have any on hand and refuse to purchase any ingredient if it's only a tsp.I added about three tablespoons of soy sauce instead . I cooked on the high setting. Not sure if the bay leaves were necessary. Will probably omit those next time as well to save even more money. Thanks for the great recipe. Another wonderful pinterest find !
  3. I made this for dinner tonight. It was on the thin side, so different from other stews I've had but it was very tasty. With there being more of a small amount of broth instead of a gravy I might try to put in more meat next time. Everyone cleaned out their bowls so it was a win.
