Frozen Creamy Jello


One can never have enough Jello recipes, right?! This is one of my favorites- and it’s perfect for summer since it’s frozen! I know that it sounds strange, but it is absolutely delicious! Makes an amazing dessert or side dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz) can crushed pineapple with juice
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup sour cream (8 oz container)
  • 1/2 pint whipping cream
  • 3 oz package lime or orange jello (I used lime)

Instructions

  1. Bring pineapple and sugar to full rolling boil on stove-top; remove from heat.
  2. Stir in jello and let cool.
  3. In a separate bowl, whip whipping cream (unflavored). Add sour cream to whipped cream, then add to jello mix and whip.
  4. Line bottom of bread pan with wax paper, pour mix into prepared pan. Cover with foil and freeze. Slice 3/4" thick and serve.
