Ingredients

  • 4 (4-6 oz) pork chops
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Liquid Smoke
  • 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cloves minced garlic

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle pork chops generously with salt and pepper, then give them a good dousing of liquid smoke and set pork chops aside.
  2. Heat oven broiler to high or preheat grill. Combine mustard, honey and garlic together in a small bowl. Place pork chops on broiler pan/grill and cook for 4-5 minutes. Turn and cook another 4-5 minutes. You want the internal temperature to be at least 165 degrees (that's a little pink inside), so continue to cook until they reach that temperature, but try not to overcook because then they become dry and tough.
  3. Baste chops with honey mustard mixture and cook an additional minute. Turn and baste other side; cook for one additional minute. Remove from heat and allow to stand a few minutes to seal in the juices.
