When we were little, we used to sit down with our mom one day a month and decide which days we wanted to eat at the school, and what days we wanted to bring home lunch (let’s be honest – no one should have eaten the “chicken pieces” on that menu!). One of my favorite days of the month was always “steak and potatoes” day! Between the steak and gravy, plus the 25 cent peanut butter bars and the tampico – it was something I always looked forward to! I hadn’t tasted it in years but I was reminded of how much I loved it when I saw it on the cafeteria menu at the LDS temple right by us. I knew it couldn’t be too hard to make – and I was right! It just takes thirty minutes from start to finish to make these steaks, and they are a hearty meal perfect for Sunday Dinner!
