The inspiration for this post actually came from my sister-in-law, Danelle.
She just moved into a darling apartment, but her and her husband are SWEATING to death without air conditioner and the last thing that you want to do at the end of a hot day is turn on the oven or stand over a hot stove to prepare dinner.
So, she texted me and requested that we put together some meals that are easy to prepare and do not require the use of anything that would make you even hotter.
Even in my air conditioned home, I hate to use my oven during the summer. It’s just too dang hot!
So, here are my words of advice to help you get through these terribly warm times:
1. The slow cooker will be your best friend!
2. Rotisserie chickens are a life-saver when you need cooked chicken, but don’t want to cook your own.
3. Just eat ice cream for dinner. You can thank me later. 🙂
