Slow Cooker Sweet and Sour Meatballs

Print Friendly

Happy Super Bowl Sunday!
I have mentioned before how the “big game” really isn’t about the game at all for me . . . it’s all about the food. :)
I think that an excuse to get together with friends and family and pig out on yummy appetizers and snack foods is the perfect day!
I made this recipe a couple of months ago for my family and my kids loved it! They had never had meatballs before and they thought that it was the coolest food! You could whip this dish up for your Super Bowl party in a matter of minutes, or even serve it over rice as a yummy dinner.
Feel free to make your own meatballs or even substitute turkey meatballs- they will all work fine for this recipe.
Quick, easy, and incredibly delicious- that’s a winner in my book.

Oh YUM! I love sweet and sour meatballs! I usually skip on the peppers and onions because my husband is “allergic” … I also use a similar recipe for sweet and sour kielbasa! Delish!

This looks so awesome! I’ve tried making this before but never in the slow cooker. I didn’t like the first way I tried it, but love sweet and sour meatballs. I’ll definitely be trying this!

  3. These meatball are so awesome~* I mixed regular and italian to see what I liked best. I thought regular was way better. Next time, I will serve the rice separately and make vege rolls. Thanks for this awesome recipe. I love your website!
