Baked Sloppy Joes

One of my husband's favorite foods is sloppy joes. I don't really love buns so I thought I would try something new and put the sloppy joes in biscuits. They turned out delicious and a lot less "sloppy" than the original kind! Hope you like them!
 Baked Sloppy Joes
Ingredients:
1 lb of ground turkey (or you can use ground beef)
1 medium onion, diced
1 Package of Jumbo Biscuits (mine had 8 biscuits)
1 can of Manwich sloppy joe sauce

Shredded Mozzarella Cheese

Directions:
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

Brown your turkey and onions on a frying pan. When it is cooked through, add your Manwich sauce and stir until it is all heated through.

Next flatten out your biscuits and add 2 spoonfuls of your turkey mixture to one side of the biscuit. Add some cheese to the top of the turkey mixture then fold the biscuit and pinch it closed. Place them on a cookie sheet.

Cook for 13 to 15 minutes until they are browned on top.

  7. Love this recipe! Plan to make again with pizza fillings. I prefer the biscuits to the crescent rolls as I have made other recipes with different fillings using crescent rolls. This is a great idea, thanks for posting. My new favorite recipe!
