Wendy’s Copy Cat Apple Pecan Chicken Salad

Print Friendly

We don’t go out to eat very often, but when we do, we always seen to go to Wendy’s. (My husband secretly loves the Jr. Bacon Cheese Burgers!) I will usually get a salad (trying to lose the baby weight) and try to choke it down while I watch my husband eat his delicious burgers. The last time I went to Wendy’s I tried the Apple Pecan Chicken Salad and LOVED it! I loved it so much that I tried to make my own version of it! Hope you like it!

Wendy’s Copy Cat Apple Pecan Chicken Salad

Ingredients:
One Bag of Romaine Lettuce
One Apple cut into chunks or grated
1/4 cup Dried Cranberries
1/2 Cup of Cooked, Cubed Chicken Breasts
1/4 Cup of Blue Cheese Crumbles
1/4 Cup of Honey Roasted Pecans or Almonds

Directions:
Mix All ingredients together in a large bowl. Wendy’s uses a delicious pomegranate dressing and I found one at my local grocery store by the lettuce section. It was really delicious! Or you can serve it with your favorite dressing!

ohhh we so love that salad also. For once there are no walnuts or strawberries in something. Usually it is what can we get that can be eliminated and then still have to be concerned about something accidentally left behind.Yeaaa
